Introduction


Cathay Biotech is the leading supplier of biological long-chain diacids worldwide. It provides a series of long-chain diacid products from sebacic acid to octadecanedioic acid with various categories and specifications for the customers in different fields. The production technology is not only environmentally friendly, but also provides a very consistent quality history. In 2018, Cathay’s biological long-chain diacids were rated as the individual champion product of the manufacturing industry by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the China Federation of Industrial Economics.


The recommended applications for our long-chain diacids are polyamides, hot melt adhesives, perfumes, anti-corrosion agents, lubricants, cold resistant plasticizers, powder coatings, and pharmaceuticals.


According to a third-party laboratory test and verification of sebacic acid to pentadecanedioic acid ,unit sebacic acid of biological treatment yields to a 22% less carbon emission compared to unit sebacic acid of chemical treatment produced from castor oil.
